Recently resident evil2, 3 and 7 were announced to be getting next generation upgrades in the next few months. A few days ago I published an article where some people in my comments were curious about the rumors and leaked resident evil3 nemesis version, so I thought I’d write an article about all the leaked rumors and evidence for this game and conclude if this game is real or fake and discuss if Capcom will do a resident evil3 remake make an update. I mean, I finished the game in less than 5 hours the first time I played it, which is not good, and Nemesis is nothing like Mr. X. Nemesis would theoretically take Mr.
X’s place. It was thought that Nemesis would replace Mr. X stalking us through the city as an unpredictable enemy that required skill and firepower to avoid, but he just cut down on some of the cutscenes and boss fights to make him feel like a minor threat.
But it’s far from a $60 game and they just threw in a multiplayer game that, as far as I know, no one really likes just to bump it up to $60 and you can see why many fans are upset, but anyway, after the initial release of this game late last year, the hopes of many fans began to rise as rumors of an expansion to this game called resident evil3 nemesis edition rumors say that this game will include cut areas that were not in the remake, new weapons and a remake of nemesis according to many reports, resident evil3 remake has gotten many updates which made many people wonder what these updates might be, some think it’s just a patch update, others think it’s a ray tracing update. But the most talked about theory is that it is the rumored nemesis version from which we got a supposed cover for the game, as well as many rumors started spreading that the game would be revealed at last year’s Tokyo Game Show and many fans were frustrated that the game was never revealed. It’s now 2022, almost two years since the resident evil3 remake was released and still no official announcement from Capcom to confirm the existence of the nemesis version, so that said I think it’s a safe assumption that the game is fake, but the question I want to raise now is whether Capcom will remake the game again or at least give us some dlc, as I said at the beginning of the article, resident evil3 will have a next generation upgrade this year.
I said at the beginning of the article that resident evil3 will be getting a next gen upgrade this year, which left many fans wondering if this upgrade would include dlc, but guys, as much as I hate to say it, I really doubt it, I think this upgrade is nothing more than a next gen upgrade with updated graphics. I just think Capcom has a lot of other games in development right now that they don’t have time to work on, I mean you have the resonant dlc of the resident evil4 remake in reverse. the resident evil4 remake may or may not be cancelled and now there are new rumors of a resident evil outbreak remake, and then we also can’t forget resident evil9.
everything i just mentioned is scheduled to be announced or released this year, except resident evil9, and that fact tells me that unfortunately we won’t be getting an update to resident evil3 anytime soon, speaking of which, it will be a few years before capcom can get around to updating it, and at this point i just don’t think I don’t think they will add a dlc to a game that is years old, if they add a dlc before the game is released it won’t get as much attention, that’s why capcom is releasing a dlc for resident evil 7 a year later, because the game still has some people playing it. If they were to release an update for Res Nemo 3, it would almost have to be a completely new game, the question is would Capcom really take the time to develop this game? To me this seems a bit far-fetched, but what do you guys think? What do you guys think of the resident evil 3 remake? Do you guys think Capcom will update the game?
