Campus tour of one of the largest medical colleges in Asia|GMC Nagpur tour|Anuj Pachhel.

Hello, my name is Anujamit and I’m the largest student at GMC Welcome back to my message and this is exactly what we’re going to explore today at GMC Nagpur and yes, this is James and Apple’s trip, here we go GMC Nagpur is one of the largest colleges that we have in central India and I’m proud that I’m a student at this college However, it’s not possible in one article to cover the entire surface area of GMC, so in this article I’m going to take you to all the different places where the first year students interact with the most people, so we have the anatomy museum here, which is actually very old museum that was established at GMC back in 1952.Campus tour of one of the largest medical colleges in Asia|GMC Nagpur tour|Anuj Pachhel.

So this is one of the first museums, along with Community Medical Anatomy and Pathology were the first three museums established in our institution where we have different cross sections of different sections of the human body like we see in CT scans or MRI machines and we have different embryology models so that’s exactly where we take our embryology classes, you know across So it’s a very historically meaningful place, it brings back memories again, anyway, we have different cross-sections, on my right, on the left, you can see we have different organs, we study those and basically know what the relationship of the organs are in the anterior thorax, lateral and medial, and also learn more about surgical anatomy, here are the different parts of the brain In first year, you study anatomy and embryology These prepare you for life, they ask you to explain what this specimen means like this thing, they ask you, what is this, what week is it in, how do you identify the different parts of it This is the first place I came to GMC Nagpur, this is the anatomy lecture hall, this is the exact place where I spent my first day I spent my first day here on the university campus It’s really exciting for me because in nine to ten months, I’ll probably be leaving this classroom and this was an anatomy lecture hall three years ago and we had classes in anatomy, histology, embryology and sometimes physiology and biochemistry and that’s it, we had the projector there and the blackboard screen and everybody, welcome to the histology lab, this is where we study tissues and this is where we study tissues and traditionally we have all the microscopes here from there to there but they’re all put away because nobody’s here but there’s this one that’s been put here and my spot has always been this one and I used to sit here and this is number one so this is mine and this is the microscope and well, you learn how to use a microscope on the first day of astrology how to focus a microscope and of course, the This is This microscope is a monocular microscope, so we need to close one eye to see it, in pathology we have binocular microscopes, you can use both eyes to see the microscope, lesson 11 you read a lot about tissues in the chapter on animal tissues, here you can see in India there’s connected tissue cartilage, and if you go on, you’ll find different organs and organ systems, so we have the golden muscle tissue and the glands and so on we got the whole digestive system here and again we can go all over the place there’s also a projector on the microscope we put the camera and the eyepiece on our projector and the whole class can have the presentation room I also have my anatomy, you know college practice right there the outside world asked me a lot of questions and my slides are right here and So it’s easy to identify, hello everybody, we’re in the biochemistry lab now and this is by far the lab I’ve been to the most because it wasn’t blocked in the first year so we spent every day here but the second year we wanted to spend time on python micro etc but things were kovid so we didn’t do much in the second year but here’s what I really like this place, it’s a lab at Norfolk University and I can stay here every day and I don’t get bored, so you can see these are all the reagents that are sitting here and we basically do quantitative and qualitative analysis on these reagents.
