Jakob’s trailer and character profiles are out, so let’s check them out and see what clues we can gather. First, we have the facial camera which suggests that Jakob will be Jessica from The Quarry as he looks like he will be in his underwear for most of the game, we’ve seen him caught in a trap while almost completely naked, here he is in a possible end state image still unclothed and covered in dust, why almost completely naked? We see Emma in the water in the trailer, and it’s likely that she was planning to swim with her archer late at night, but she’ll be disappointed when he ends up being dragged into the woods by Bobby instead of coming to meet her.
But considering the same lights from both angles, it looks like the Slayer trapped Jacob in a trap, dragging him through the woods and locking him in a cage.
In the sustained shots, the flashing white and red lights indicate that the police car is there and that Travis is involved, or maybe it’s just some sort of flash they use to scare their prey before murdering them or hunting them down for sport.
They don’t show the two of them together at all, which is also a jerk move to put a disgusting character trait on a shot of him begging for his life, or maybe that’s a clue, and it’s worth noting that the begging for life is him saying he didn’t mean for this to happen, so it’s a Conrad-esque situation where he coldly does something to offend the killers and bring the terror upon himself, which is definitely a possibility.
The last shot of the camp shows us a nice aerial view of the cabin, showing it to be three stories high with a blue-roofed building behind it. One odd thing is that on the title screen, the Hackett camp quarry is established in 1952, while the sign at the beginning of the trailer says 1953 by mistake or clue, which is also a bit awkward, and I didn’t notice the yellow door, which I assume leads to what I call the bunker. Which means a couple of things, one, this shot in the trailer looks basically accurate, and the slow-mo does take us to the general location of the doors, and two, I’m not very good at predicting what’s going to happen to Max and Laura, because if the bunker really is behind these yellow doors, that means they’ll go all the way to the camp at some point, and if you run a summer camp and need a place to hide during the werewolf transformation , having a solid concrete bunker underneath the launch site would be a very good place to be. So that’s everything worth noting in Jacob’s article, who’s next and more importantly who’s been left out, they’re releasing one of these articles every week, we’re 10 weeks away from the game’s release so there’s 14 characters, we’ve got two articles, if they keep up this pace, we’ll have 12 characters by release day. Which characters don’t have articles or they are just doing articles for the counselors, we will stop after seven weeks, we will just have to wait and see, I have been the master of hidden objects, thank you for reading, if you haven’t already, please remember to like and follow, special thanks to my patron desires Marissa Eduardo Brian and Joanne, you can always find me on my live stream We’ll be seeing more super gaming content here every weeknight at 9pm Eastern and weekends at noon, but until then, Aurevoir
