We always had a vision of developing the world and the campus was an idea we came up with when we were making the hospital and we were really excited about what we could do and where we could go, so it’s a game about running a university where you build a university and take care of the students.
Taking care of your staff Tea Point Campus is basically the next logical step for Two Point County We’re still in the same universe, still the same little people, but this time we’re going to educate them, not cure them Two Point Campus is everything you know about college life, but of course with the iconic Two Point twist.
You’ll be visiting various parts of the county, just like you did in Two Point Campus, and you’ll be building different types of campuses in different places, and you can be very creative in building your campus, trying different layouts, offering different courses, and attracting different types of students.
Because we had a little bit of familiarity with the game, you know the hospital was trying to be healthcare, but as you know, the hospital turned into something quite different and every dlc that went through became more surreal and obviously in the hospital we had characters and they looked good and you know we had all these visual uh torture, which was nice, but you really didn’t spend a lot of time with them in with them or know them very well because they come in, they’re healed, they leave, or die.
some of them, experience the quirks in their lives and help shape them these characters can relate to each other, they can love each other, you can play a role in helping them move forward you can start clubs for them so they have activities and clubs and communities they can join and be a part of they need a lot of things, you know they may have just moved out of their home, they’ve never lived alone before lived on their own before they need a lot of things to get involved in, to keep them entertained, club friendship groups, all those things that affect how they succeed some of our players at the two point hospital said they sometimes find the building layouts a little bit restrictive so this time we’re giving the control to the players, not only can you build any building layout you like, you have a whole range of new items that you can place on the path Fencing, you have a lot of ways to trap your character and we wanted to make sure that every type of player could enjoy those controls on any platform, and as you explore different parts of the county you get different courses, which of course is two points of the county.
We have classes like night school, which is not a class you go to after you’ve done your day job, just like in the real world, we actually train knights and get them out doing tournaments and teach them the rules of true chivalry, like food, which is not a normal cooking class, these are huge These are huge pizzas and pies and pastries that people are going to make and we gradually introduce you to these classes and then you decide which course combinations to offer on your campus, and of course that affects the type of students you have, so your campus could end up being very different from mine, and they look completely different after a few years of playing One of the things that we really like about Two Point Campus is that we saw the feedback from the community after the game launched, and in developing Two Point Campus was actually able to make some really good quality of life updates during the development of Two Point Campus We listened to all the player feedback on Two Point Campus, we incorporated it into the design of the core game, and we’ll continue to do that once the game is in the hands of players. As a game developer, it’s amazing to be able to create something and then keep working on it because you’re never 100 satisfied, and one of the great things we have is a community that tells us that we like this or we like this ongoing development, which is new and great for us, and we like it because we can continue to improve and add to it and keep the story of development.
