what happened to resident evil reversal? when will resident evilRE:Verse be released?

Ok so resident evil reversed, we should probably talk about that as it’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about it and the last thing we did here was it was delayed until 2022 and since then it’s been a sort of broadcast sultan. I have noticed that many of you are new to resident evil village and obviously I have received this game and a couple of other comments that I have made in the initial reverse article when it was almost released. Say your village, I have the code for this game but it doesn’t work or you know what it is because I don’t I have a code in the box and the game doesn’t even like come out so it can you kind of like explain what it is um so we’re gonna briefly talk again about what the game is and what you know and what you can expect if you know not being tracked it, um that will talk about everything that We know and the state of the game in general so we went over first of all, this is the game that you get when you buy Resident Evil Village you know no matter how much you buy it, the Resident Evil Village song is brand new because if it’s second hand, the code in the box obviously works but the box has the code for the game so it’s basically free , what is this game? I’m talking about the artwork for this game, it’s basically a remake of Chris and Leon Gill Clare with Jack Marx and Ada, I think all mixed together, it looks really cool, the artwork is incredible, I’ve been using it as a poster to be honest, it’s great by the way. This game is essentially a free-to-play… This game is essentially a free-to-play… … All the iconic characters of the series… … Whether it’s Chris… .what happened to resident evil reversal? when will resident evilRE:Verse be released?.. Jill… … Leon… … Clare… … All these characters, and some unknown boy arms..

. … You have Jack… … Baker, you’ve got Namexis, you’ve got a few monster enemy types… You can see from the game that some of the monster enemy types are molded, as well as uh made a chick thing from the resident evil3 remake of those things, so there’s also some creature weapons that basically you become a weapon when you’re defeated as a hero, there’s a lot of these capsules on the map that you can pick up through weapon capsules, and when you die, the more you hold The more capsules you have, the better orb weapon you become, basically, as you go down, obviously, like the exploding die and the chicken stuff, the higher tiers are obviously the nemesis and stuff like that, or Jack, so it’s an interesting concept, there’s also a little element of a sort of hero shooter in the game, um meaning each character has a unique weapon and ability, just off the top of my head, you have Leon, Leon has his sort of like roundhouse kick, you can use a shotgun, you can also use a pistol briefly so that’s unique to him, each character has unique abilities and passive skills, I believe the playable characters in the beta were Leon, Chris, Jill, Claire Ada and Hunk, so there were six characters and then are some bottled weapons, well that’s not nearly enough. It’s a far cry from what they’re planning for a full release, like in the morning there’s a lot of maps, some other modes and stuff like that, but obviously you know there’s only a beta period so there’s only one RPD map, choose a couple of characters, I think that’s probably the starter character for the base game, so yeah, to briefly summarise everything I’ve just said, it’s a free to play game, there’s the village to celebrate the 25th anniversary, it’s a free-for-all for – of it’s a free-for-all deathmatch mode featuring popular characters from the whole series and some boyish weapons, there’s some heroic shooter elements in there as well, which is basically what you’re playing, so now let’s move on to what it is now. Mainly because it’s sometimes the middle of the night where I live so I have to get up and play or stay up and play, well it’s fun, but there’s definitely some major balance issues when I play. You know, for most characters, you can stun another character with one of their abilities and then easily kill them and they can’t do anything. In the simplest terms it’s like Dark Souls dodge, if you time it right you can avoid damage altogether so obviously ability wise you get shot at but you can’t dodge weapon or ability swaps, it’s annoying, I think it has two charges, it fully charges, er, like a stamina bar, it’s very so it’s probably the most unbalanced thing I’ve ever seen, apart from me Personal issues aside, it’s mostly those things because the game itself is really quite fun, I did have quite a lot of fun with it, but overall the community in resident evil, I totally agree with most people that say that the game doesn’t need it. I totally agree with most people who say that the game doesn’t need… .

.. The series doesn’t need PVP multiplayer… … Are they fun… … You know in some ways yes… … We have three main games..

. … Some of the Bros. corpses, like a 3V3 objective PVP model that kind of died quickly, but people still play it now… … It may have been in the last year or so and it wasn’t the best, but it was certainly enjoyable for a while… Then we have a resistance game that’s available for free with the rest of the three games and there’s a lot of stuff about the packaging but it has a fairly dedicated player base and if you’re committed to that it’s really quite fun and obviously there’s a lot of players now that are very high level so all the best cards and stuff like that have really good characters but it’s fun, especially when it first came out and people were It was fun to call it newcomers but now you play it and you’re playing against 200 masters and if you’re new you get destroyed so it’s not very friendly to new players. The multiplayer experience has a preference I don’t mind owning this game or playing it I didn’t pay for this game I bought the village for the village so it’s free and I will and if it comes out I will play it maybe it will be fun and maybe it will be a better experience than when it first came out at least I agree with most people that if resident evil is going to have a new multi multiplayer experience, it’s going to be purely co-op. You know, look at resident evil 5, Outbreak and Revelations 2’s ride mode and stuff like that, it’s all good stuff and fun. You know, a friend of mine just finished the village and he said he was playing Mercenaries a few days ago and he said Mercenaries is really fun if it has multiplayer and oh it has it in the fall too if it’s good like Mercenaries United or something like that, it’s basically called Mercenaries. He’s right, it would be better to play an extra mode like that, or something like that, preferably co-op rather than competitive, but it’s a preference because before I came out I did a lot of articles on the game, introducing each character individually and talking about the game in general, and a lot of people were sincere in their comments that a lot of people were excited about it in their comments, and some people weren’t. Some people thought it was pointless, we didn’t need this and I agree to an extent, we didn’t need it but we got it and it was free so it wasn’t a big deal but um, you know a lot of people were kind of looking forward to it and some people said they had played Escape Room and really enjoyed it. So you know if people want to play it when it comes out let them play it, let them enjoy it, it’s totally up to you whether you like it or not yeah that’s it, that’s it we don’t have any information on when it’s going to be released we only know early 2022 I think between now and April might be a window if it comes out obviously that might change they might delay it again or even cancel it if they want the words I don’t think I’d cancel it, I really wouldn’t I think we should know by now it’s been almost a year since the village came out and there’s still a few months to go well it’s a May time this village came out in early May so I think if it’s cancelled we’ll know but then again Capcom usually keep their plans at the forefront you know, he knows right away but if it comes out that’s Great, let people play around with it, you know any new players that got the village recently over Christmas or whatever, just go and see what you think if you want to see these, if you’re 50 years old I just want to give you an update because obviously a lot of you have followed and worked on the reverse launch period so I just want to throw any updates out there. If anything changes I’ll be sure to let you all know via community posts or tweets or whatever so keep your eyes peeled but until then this is the reversal and this is where we are at the moment so thanks for watching, leave your thoughts on the reversal in the comments and of course if you’re going to play it you’ll have to skip it and let me know but yes, thanks for watching and I’ll catch you all up tomorrow.
