Why did the remake of “resident evil3” fail in its introduction?

It’s ridiculous that we live in such broken times where games are released only 50% finished, but at least when it comes to these modern half-assed games, other companies have the decency to keep working, sure it takes a few years, but at least they are updating their games. Why did the remake of A lot of YouTubers have talked about the differences, like not having most of the enemies and locations, but I’d say it’s the beginning of the game, I’m talking about the first 10 minutes of the game, I was actually wrong, it starts crashing much earlier.
Why did the remake of
In the original they had two opening scenes, one with Jill’s narration explaining what has happened so far, and then a movie clip showing the current state of the Raccoon City outbreak, and when Jill describes these events you get the feeling that this will be the last part of the game series.
Why did the remake of
That was my feeling too, after all this is the third game, which at the time felt like a complete trilogy, I’ve heard that this is actually the last game, which would make sense if that’s the case, I’ve also heard that the developers wanted to name code Veronica as resident evil 3.
Why did the remake of
I’m glad they didn’t, the conclusion of Raccoon City should have been the third game, so they made a wise choice Anyway, the introductory cutscene begins, and let me tell you one thing, no other resident evil game offers a better cinematic introduction than this, let’s get started, let’s go, go, fire away, don’t give up, and let me describe why this is such an impactful scene, it feels like you’re witnessing a horrific epidemic endlessly spreading through the crowded streets of Raccoon City spreading in all directions except panic and chaos, and if you’ve played the first two re games and then this one, this introduction really hits you because you know how it goes from containing T- strips, to reaching Raccoon City and contaminating it completely, in R1 there are some casualties but only those from Spencer Mansion and Arkley Woods, but in resident evil2, you see the T- virus start spreading in Raccoon City not long ago, and from what we see in R2, the virus is only spreading in certain areas of the city, maybe just the closest places next to Arkley Forest, and there may still be a chance to save it, and I know that the beginning of R3 actually precedes R2.
Why did the remake of
resident evil2, but again, R2 doesn’t show us the panic in the streets, they showed us a small sample of the outbreak, so you played the previous game at the end of R2 and Leon and Claire were both scouting outside the city, so you don’t know how things are in the city, but you just beat the game, which is kind of like I mean, you just took out a lot of zombie creatures and William Birken, including his G embryo, so maybe it wasn’t totally screwed up. But when I finally got to play RESIDENT EVIL 3, I was completely shocked to see an entire city overrun with zombies, and you know when Robert Kennedy said that to us, I actually thought he was exaggerating, but when you see it with your own eyes, it leaves you speechless. I didn’t even mention how quickly the police and mercenaries moved in to control the situation, but as hordes of zombies appeared everywhere, their numbers started to drop and when you saw them arrive you felt there was a glimmer of hope that maybe they could handle the situation, but it was all over very quickly and a few minutes later the streets were filled with gunfire and heavy rain that made it feel like all hope was lost and Everyone is dead, and I’ve never seen such a striking introduction to zombies. Usually games and movies stick around for the entire X number of days after, or use a montage of news reports to show a quick glimpse of the outbreak, which unfortunately was the opening scene they chose for the RESIDENT EVIL 3 remake, a pandemic that spreads faster than any disease. It’s great that they showed us this in a news report, why did the developers think this could surpass the opening sequence of the original game, they didn’t even think about surpassing it, it’s not right, they really just accepted that it would be too hard
