Over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed a sudden distaste for Splatoon 3.
The most common criticism I’ve noticed is that it’s too similar to the first two titles, which I can agree with to a certain extent when it comes to rehashes, but you have to remember that Splatoon 3 builds on Splatoon 2, so obviously they’re going to look similar graphically and gameplay-wise.
Another criticism mentioned was that the game should be dlc and not a fully fledged title, this all stems from the whole salmon run next wave of trailer reveals, I know where people are coming from and why they are making these points but this exact argument combined with the first I would say is that if you are a human being then you should have the dignity of a human being and not a human being.
Bring back what people like in terms of new maps, weapons, special equipment areas and more content, and that’s the ultimate Splatoon game.
