I also want to do some articles comparing resident evil games, for example, I might do an article comparing the original resident evil2 and the new resident evil2 remake, there is a lot to look forward to and I am very excited about it. If you have played “resident evil village”, you might look at the concept art and you might notice the content of “resident evil village”. If you’ve played “resident evil village”, you may have noticed that a lot of the artwork doesn’t actually appear in the game, certain enemies have been cut out, and characters in certain locations have been cut out, for example Ada Wong should appear in the game to help Ethan, and as a result she doesn’t appear in the game.
I say this because there are rumors that there will be a new Playstation event this month, and apparently there will be a lot of big games being shown in this new Playstation event. resident evil DLC usually takes 9 to 11 months to develop, and it’s been 9 months since June, so if we assume Capcom is reusing cut content, then they should already have most of the assets, and since that’s the case, the DLC should be almost done, if it isn’t already.
I’ve been saying that I think the dlc will be announced sometime in the summer, but maybe we’ll see it sometime this month, so the main thing we know about the dlc is that they’ll probably reuse the cut content, and maybe they’ll find a way to incorporate Ms. D into the dlc in case anyone is worried, and I don’t think the dlc will be announced next year.
I don’t think the DLC will be announced next year and I’m pretty sure it will be released this year and we should hear about it sometime in the next two to three months so we know Capcom is thinking about what the fans want and one of the things is they might reuse content that didn’t make it and they might reuse content that didn’t make it in the final game and Ms. D might make an appearance or they’ll do a prequel to resident evil village, the non-hero DLC for resident evil7 is a sequel to 7, so they might do a prequel to resident evil8. Also, we know it will be released this year, I don’t think they will release the dlc next year because next year is probably when the resident evil4 remake will be released and I assume they will find a way to bring back Aydah Wong.
